About the actual vehicle
The main battle tank of the Second World War was the IV series of German tanks. It was designed as a support tank, with a relatively affordable body design that worked to accommodate various capabilities, and until the end of the war many types were produced and fought around the world. The first mass production of many types of IV tanks was the D type. Between October 1939 and May 1941, more than 200 tanks were produced.
