This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces a tow truck based on one of the main trucks that Mercedes-Benz sold from the 1970s to the 1980s.
About the actual vehicle
The NG series is a lineup of trucks that Mercedes-Benz, a German comprehensive automobile manufacturer with a lineup ranging from sports cars to large trucks and buses, began producing in 1973. Among the many models in the lineup, the 2238 was highly trusted as one of the representatives of the long-distance, heavy-duty class. It was equipped with a V8 OM422 engine. The powerful engine allowed for smooth driving by reducing the number of gear shifts, and also improved fuel efficiency. In addition, the highly reliable chassis was popular as a platform for customization and the production of dedicated versions to suit the desired uses of various users, and a type equipped with a tow truck mechanism at the rear of the vehicle was also available.

Of course, mechanical equipment such as the wrecker arm mounted on the rear of the vehicle is also finely modeled, making the finished product something to look forward to.
