It's a one-third-scale plastic model assembly kit that was used by the U.S. Army during World War II to replicate a field ambulance, the Dodge WC54.

Dodge's three-quarters-ton truck, the WC-series ambulance, was introduced in 1942 with the WC54 ambulances. The engine had the same 78-inch six-cylinder side valve engine as the truck type. It was fitted with high-floating tires to increase roadworthiness.
