About the actual vehicle
The German Tiger I tank, equipped with a powerful 88mm main gun, demonstrated its overwhelming power against the Allied and Soviet forces. With its straight-lined hull and 100mm of heavy frontal armor, it was one of the most representative tanks of World War II in terms of both offensive and defensive capabilities. Production began in 1942, and when assigned to heavy tank battalions, it demonstrated its power on the North African and Eastern Fronts. Production continued until 1944 with improvements made to various parts. From a certain point, vehicles with Zimmerit coating to protect against magnetic mines also appeared. It was gradually deployed to heavy tank battalions and demonstrated the power of its 88mm gun on various fronts.
About the Model
This model is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit of the German Tiger I heavy tank from World War II. The finished model has a total length of 241mm. The powerful form composed of flat surfaces is realistically reproduced. The turret's shape is accurately reproduced, and the details of the cupola and the tool cases mounted on the rear of the turret are also faithfully reproduced. The cupola hatch can be assembled in either the open or closed position. The lower hull is a single piece, and the suspension arms are separate parts. Tracks are available in a combination of single-piece, link-type, and rubber type. A great feature is that you can choose to assemble the more realistic assembly type or the easy-to-finish rubber type. The upper hull also features delicate details such as the engine deck louvers. Of course, the towing ropes and onboard tools set on the upper hull are also modeled, and the delicate finish enhances the realism.
