About the actual vehicle
During World War II, various vehicles played an indispensable role not only in combat vehicles but also in rear-echelon support logistics. The German army used a large number of trucks to transport supplies to the front lines. The Opel Blitz, produced by Opel, was one such vehicle, and many were used for various purposes as the Kfz305 military truck. The 3-ton truck with two rear-wheel drive was one of the most representative trucks, and it is said that more than 130,000 units were produced until 1944 during World War II. In addition, four-wheel drive versions were also made for the Eastern Front and North African Front.
