EXO-6, an emerging American manufacturer, has attracted the attention of fans by recreating Star Trek characters in a large 1/6 scale. They have been steadily releasing a lineup of popular characters that have been realistically recreated, and this time they are featuring Captain Angel, a pirate who appeared in the Star Trek TV series, Star Trek: Strange New World, which aired its first season in 2022 and its second season in 2023.
Star Trek: Strange New World, which is popular with fans, depicts the exploration of a new world in the galaxy over five years during the time when Captain Christopher Pike was in command, 10 years before the time depicted in the original Star Trek. Among them, Captain Angel, the enigmatic pirate who boarded the Enterprise disguised as Starfleet scientist Dr. Aspen and took over the ship, appeared in the 7th episode of the first season, "The Serene Squall," and became a fan favorite. This model is based on Captain Angel as played by Jesse James Keitel. Of course, it is a completely new mold and sculpt that realistically reproduces even his facial expression. The scale is 1/6 and the height is approximately 28cm. This figure is a fixed-pose figure with no movable parts and is modeled in the iconic pose of raising the Vulcan salute. Of course, the facial features and expression of Captain Angel as played by Jesse James Keitel, as well as the earrings and distinctive facial markings, are realistically reproduced. Furthermore, the costume was created in collaboration with costume designer Bernadette Croft, who was involved in the production of the show. The realism of the figure is enhanced by creating the texture of the materials, tailoring, and finished silhouette.
