About the movie
"Bride of Frankenstein" is an American science fiction horror film produced and released in 1935. It was made as a sequel to the popular horror film "Frankenstein," which was produced in 1931 and based on the novel published in 1818 by British novelist Mary Shelley. The director was the same James Whale. The role of the monster was also played by the same Polis Carrog as in the previous film. The story begins with Frankenstein's monster, who was thought to have died in the previous film, actually being alive, and a new bride for the monster is created. The despair of the monster after being rejected by his bride is depicted.
