The ME262HGⅢ is a night fighter based on the fuselage of the ME262, the world's first jet fighter to be deployed in combat, with significant design changes.
The main wings have a 45-degree sweep angle, and the main landing gear and HeS011 engine are attached to the roots.
The canopy has been changed to a small, streamlined racing canopy, and a FuG240 Berlin radar is housed in the nose.
The crew consists of 3 people.
It is equipped with four MK 108 cannons in the nose and two Schrägemusik MK 108 cannons on either side of the rearmost cockpit seat.
