T-80UM-2
The T-80 is a main battle tank developed based on the T-64 and equipped with a gas turbine engine. The T-80, which was officially adopted in 1975, was initially criticized for frequent breakdowns and poor fuel efficiency, so the improved T-80A and the further equipped T-80B were developed. In 1985, the T-80U appeared, which was an improved version of the T-80A. The T-80UM-2, the model in this kit, is a vehicle that evolved from the T-80U and is equipped with a new fire control system and the active protection system Drost 2.
