■Product Description
The BMD-1 is an amphibious infantry fighting vehicle operated by Soviet airborne troops. It could be air-transported or parachute-dropped by An-22 or Il-76 heavy transport aircraft, significantly improving the combat capability and mobility of airborne troops after their deployment. It is equipped with a smaller version of the BMP-1's turret, and the gun shield is fitted with a 9S428 ATGM launcher for 9M14 anti-tank missiles. The kit is precisely and accurately modeled. Etched parts are included.
