●Cro-Magnon Man Revived with Old Aurora Kit
This is a 1/13 scale plastic model assembly kit that recreates the Cro-Magnon Man, which was part of the Prehistoric Scenes series released by Aurora in the 1970s.
About Cro-Magnon Man
The Cro-Magnon Man got his name from Cro-Magnon in southern France, where he was first discovered in 1868. He lived in various parts of the Eurasian continent about 160,000 years ago, possessed advanced stone tool manufacturing technology, and produced throwing spears, bows and arrows, etc. He is believed to have lived a hunting lifestyle. He is also characterized by the numerous paintings he left behind in caves depicting animals and other things.
About the Model
This plastic model assembly kit of the Cro-Magnon Man, from the popular old Aurora series that recreates prehistoric times, including extinct creatures, is making a comeback from Dencom. This is a re-release by Dencom Models of the kit that was first released by the old Aurora in the 1970s. This kit models a Cro-Magnon man. The kit is a snap-fit assembly that requires no glue. It consists of 21 parts and the finished model stands approximately 127mm tall. Two types of arm parts and two types of leg parts are included, and the arm parts are poseable even after completion. In addition, a stone axe and a stone spear are also included. By combining the two types of arm parts, you can recreate poses of the man wielding the axe or thrusting the spear. The facial expression and sculpting also capture the atmosphere of a Cro-Magnon. A base is also included in the kit, and a snake is modeled on the base. It will be fun to try painting it to finish the model.
