■ Description
The Kübelwagen was a small military vehicle produced in Germany during World War II. It was a military version of the type 1 that was designed before it.・It was designed to raise the ground height as low as possible compared to Type 1, using low-gravity features.・The seats of the main car, which adopted the drive mode of the rear drive, were equipped with a simple bucket seat, from which the name derives. When research began in 1938 to apply the Type 1 to military use at the request of the Army War Department, the prototype was completed in 1939, and its development prototype was named Type 62, with dozens of prototypes. As a result of the Type 62 evaluation tests, an improved Type 82 was adopted and mass production began in the city of KdF from 1940 onwards. While the two-wheel drive and the rear engine had a heavy load of the propulsion due to the size of the two-wheel drive, the Cuban Warfare, which was more useful than the actual two-wheel drive with a car, was greatly welcomed by the soldiers in the battlefield.
