■Product Description
The Udaloy-class destroyer was a large anti-submarine destroyer of the Soviet Navy (now the Russian Navy), with 12 ships of its class commissioned between the 1980s and 1990s, primarily tasked with anti-submarine and anti-air defense. It was characterized by a full load displacement of 8,500 tons, making it larger than the destroyers of Western countries at the time. It also featured a structure that enhanced stealth capabilities, such as a sloped superstructure and the use of radar-absorbing paint. In terms of armament, it was equipped with powerful sonar, as well as short-range RBU-6000 anti-submarine rockets, long-range SS-N-14 anti-submarine missiles, and the ability to operate Ka-27 anti-submarine patrol helicopters, among other powerful weapons.
