■Product Description
DDG-173 "Kongo" is the first Aegis destroyer of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, commissioned in 1993. In 2007, it successfully conducted ballistic missile interception exercises using SM-3 missiles, becoming a BMD-capable ship. It is currently based in Sasebo and belongs to the 5th Escort Division of the 1st Escort Flotilla.
・Includes the new equipment set "NE10 1/700 Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Ship Equipment Set 1". By replacing parts such as armament and various antennas, it can be reproduced with greater precision.
・Includes a renewed mast top with added detail and new ESM device parts.
・Decals reproduce the current helicopter landing markings and new markings for walkways
・Includes 2 SH-60J patrol helicopters
