The T-34 medium tank was the main battle tank of the Soviet army in World War II. It was first deployed in combat in Operation Barbarossa in July 1941, and after that, as various parts were simplified and production efficiency was improved, a new hexagonal turret was adopted in 1942. The tank was also mass-produced at Factory No. 183, the largest production base. It was equipped with a 76.2mm F-34 tank gun as its main armament, and its wide tracks with low ground pressure provided high off-road capability in muddy terrain and snowy conditions. As a mainstay in the middle of the war, it was used in armored battles on the vast plains of the German-Soviet war.
