■Product Description
The Reimei-class is the largest patrol vessel of the Japan Coast Guard, and began service as an improved version of the previous Akitsushima-class, equipped with one helicopter. Built as part of efforts to strengthen territorial waters security, this class is capable of long-term operations in vast ocean areas. The first ship, Reimei, entered service in February 2020 and is assigned to the Kagoshima Coast Guard Office.
