■Product Description
In the Imperial Japanese Navy, coastal defense ships were ocean-going escort ships whose main duties included escorting transport ships and conducting anti-submarine patrols, and they were used in a wide range of operations. All nine Hiburi-class ships were commissioned between 1944 (Showa 19) and 1945, in the later stages of the war, and were simplified compared to the previous Mikura-class, improving their mass production capabilities.
