■ Description
The Cleveland-class was the largest cruiser built during World War II, with 27 completed.
Initially, there were plans to build 52 ships, but nine of them were built as light aircraft carriers in the independent class, and the final version was upgraded to the Fargo class, which was also the flagship of the time.
The current class is an improved version of the earlier Brooklyn class. The first ship, Cleveland, was laid down in June 1942.
Its relatively compact hull and enhanced anti-aircraft capabilities give the impression of being smart.
It's also divided into pre- and post-production, with seven pre-production ships having rounded hulls in front of the bridge.
The name ship, Cleveland, was immediately commissioned into the Pacific War, serving as a destroyer of the Japanese Navy, submerging ships, and participating in various landing operations.
