■Product Description
The "Haruna" was commissioned in 1973 as the first helicopter-carrying destroyer (DDH) of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
It operated for a long period of time with four ships, including its sister ship "Hiei" and two improved "Shirane" class ships.
It was decommissioned in 2009 with the commissioning of the "Hyuga" class ships, which have a full flight deck.
The kit reproduces the ship as it was at the end of its service life as a full-hull model.
