Recreate the appearance of the 87AW during firing exercises and parades! The 87AW is now available with photo-etched parts!
This product is a set of two Type 87 Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Guns (2 units) produced in a design style that improves the quality and specifications of the 1/72 series, and comes with photo-etched parts. The turret is integrally molded using slide molds. The number of parts is kept to a minimum of 109, while parts where accuracy is important are separate parts. The upper sides and bottom of the hull accurately represent the welding marks and anti-slip parts found on the real thing. The decals include a lot of detail. ・Basic markings such as vehicle numbers, affiliation markings and unit markings cover all units, including "2nd Anti-Aircraft Special Forces," "7th Anti-Aircraft Regiment," "Anti-Aircraft School," and "Weapons School." ・Furthermore, it includes the unique two-digit number of the Anti-Aircraft School and the "Caution: Overtaking" markings for public road driving that will make you want to create a diorama of the C route in Chitose. - Vehicles that displayed the unit flag during parades at each base, as well as vehicles with distinctive markings from the past, are included in equal proportions for vehicles equipped with 3/4 launchers. - Delicate details that cannot be expressed with injection molded parts are reproduced with photo-etched parts. This is a rich set of photo-etched parts with a wide range of choices. - Compatible with detailing the 1/72 scale Military Series No. 9 Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Type 87 Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun. Features - Features such as the taper angle of the 35mm barrel and the position of the maximum protrusion are incorporated into the plastic parts, albeit in minute detail for 1/72 scale. - The launcher (smoke grenade launcher) can be selected from the early 3-barrel type or the later 4-barrel type. - The tracks reproduce the rubber-padded type seen in parades and other events. - Laser rangefinders and infrared night vision devices are made of transparent parts. - Headlights and periscopes are made of transparent parts. - The underside of the hull reproduces details that are often omitted, such as the driver's emergency exit and welding marks. - The tow wire at the rear of the hull is a separate part for painting purposes.
