■Product Description
The Ryusei has been renewed with new decal specifications!
This product is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Imperial Japanese Navy's "Ryusei".
You can choose between the "Increased Production Model (Prototype Ryusei)" and the "Ryusei Kai".
The Ryusei was officially adopted after a long period of hard work, approximately 3 and a half years, from basic research.
The official military name was "Ryusei Kai".
The airframe is characterized by its inverted gull wings, which are rare for Japanese aircraft.
Although the aircraft had many problems such as being overweight and lacking strength, its performance was on par with the top-class American and British aircraft of the time, and in particular, it surpassed them in strength.
However, even after mass production began, production efficiency decreased due to the earthquake in the Tokai region and the intensification of air raids, and only a small number of aircraft assigned to units were active until the end of the war.
The armament consists of two 20mm fixed guns and one 7.7mm swivel gun in the rear seat.
It is the last carrier-based bomber of the Imperial Japanese Navy, equipped with a Nakajima "Homare" Type 11 engine.
The instruction manual has been completely revised, and you can now choose to assemble either the standard Ryusei or the Ryusei Kai.
Painting instructions are also clearly indicated for both the prototype Ryusei and the Ryusei Kai.
The molded color is light gray for easy painting, and the canopy is molded in clear plastic.
The fuselage is split into left and right halves, and the wings are split into upper and lower halves.
The package illustration is a new drawing by Mikiya Yoshihara.

The decals include the Hinomaru mark, aircraft number, aircraft markings, friendly identification stripes on the wings,
and aircraft number on the landing gear covers.
