The gate was built during the Shang Dynasty (1527-55).
At the time, it was called the "Waiting Gate", which is the official name, but now it's a common name for the guard gate.
It was designated a national treasure in Showa in the 8th century, but after the Battle of Okinawa, it disappeared along with the Showa Castle, and the present gate was restored in Showa in the 33rd century.
A new explanation!
To include a real-life commentary on the illustrations of Mr. Shingu, who works for a monthly magazine.
With the rebuilding of the Necropolis, the painting has become a motif.
