Easily recreate the scene of the refitted battleship Hiei speeding and turning at high speed. Hiei joins the Wave Series, which includes a sea surface stage that allows you to easily and realistically depict the ship sailing after completion!!

→Reproduces the ship's appearance after the refit completed in 1940, including its distinctive bridge and bulge shape.

・The hull is divided into left and right halves, separated from the bottom at the waterline.
・The side parts are exclusive to Hiei, reproducing a different shape from sister ships such as Kongo, including the bulge shape.
・A special molded color of a dark gray that mimics the warship color used at the Kure Naval Arsenal.
・The external electrical wiring on the sides of the hull is expressed in detail with delicate engraving of the fasteners and other parts.
Armament
・The main guns can be elevated and rotated.
→Achieving both a minimum number of parts and realistic molding.
→The muzzle of the 36 cm main gun barrel is expressed using a slide mold.
→Waterproof canvas uses the included sticker
・The main gun turrets reproduce the unique feature of Hiei and Kongo, where the front wall surface was flat
・The secondary guns have a one-piece structure with the casemate and barrel integrated
・The 25mm machine guns have a one-piece structure and are molded in gray
Bridge
・The bridge is constructed with parts that are assembled by stacking, and each layer is reproduced without omitting any
・The bridge, with its modern shape similar to that of the Yamato class, is made up of dedicated parts
・Two types of fire control indicators are included for the top of the bridge: battleship gray and white
→Battleship gray for the start of the war, and white for the Battle of Midway and the Third Battle of Solomon Islands, allowing for the expression of differences in years
Chimney/Mast
・The chimneys are assembled by combining the left and right sides, with separate parts for the steam exhaust pipes and whistle pipes
・The cap part (grille) at the top is hollow, creating a very realistic shape with a sense of depth
→Molded in black, and does not require painting The paint scheme is clearly defined.
The mast is divided into main mast, support, cross tree, and topmast, achieving both ease of assembly and accurate shape reproduction.

・The molded color of the wooden deck is a wood-like beige.
・The plank-like arrangement is expressed with delicate recessed carvings, and the recess depth is suitable for panel lining.

The aircraft work deck is molded in brown so that the linoleum flooring can be reproduced without painting.
The aircraft transport rails can be easily color-coded using the included stickers.

Two Type 95 Seaplanes are included.
The molded color is dark green.
It consists of four parts: fuselage, upper wing, lower wing, and floats.
