Haruna joins the Wave Series, which includes a sea surface stage that allows you to easily and realistically depict the ship sailing once completed!!
(Structure, Specifications, Features)
Hull
・The hull is divided into left and right halves, with the bottom separated at the waterline.
・A special molded color of a dark gray that mimics the battleship color used at the Sasebo Naval Arsenal.
・The portholes have a special shape that shows many of them closed.
→Unclosed windows are recessed, and closed windows are raised to reproduce the difference.
・The external electrical wiring on the sides of the hull is expressed in detail, including the fasteners.
Armament
・The main guns can be elevated and rotated.
→Achieves both a minimum number of parts and realistic molding.
→The muzzle of the 36 cm main gun barrel is expressed using a slide mold.
→Waterproof canvas uses included stickers
・The main turret reproduces the unique feature of Haruna and Kirishima, with a curved front wall.
・The roofs of the No. 2 and No. 3 main guns reproduce the additional machine gun mounts, with dedicated parts provided.
・The secondary guns have a one-piece structure with the casemate and barrel integrated.
・The 25mm machine guns have a one-piece structure and are molded in gray.
Bridge
・The bridge is constructed with parts that are assembled by stacking, reproducing each layer without omitting any.
・The appearance in the later stages of the war, equipped with Type 21 and Type 22 radars.
Chimney/Mast
・The chimney is a left and right combination type, with the steam exhaust pipe and whistle pipe all represented as one piece.
・The cap part (grille) at the top is hollow, creating a very realistic design with a sense of depth. Shape
・The mast is divided into struts, crosstrees, and topmast, achieving both ease of assembly and accurate shape reproduction.
Aircraft Fittings and Carrier-Based Aircraft
・One Zero-type reconnaissance seaplane and one Zero-type observation aircraft are included.
・The molded color is dark green.
・Panel lines are recessed, and the propellers are integrated with the fuselage using slide molding for precise detailing.
Wooden Deck
・The wooden deck is a wood-like beige color, with parts that express the tone.
・The plate-like arrangement is expressed with delicate recessed carvings, and the recess depth is suitable for panel lining.
・Facility fittings on the deck such as air intakes (warship gray) are separate parts to reproduce the color difference.

・Single machine gun and ammunition box, bulletproof plate, and machine gun mount support (forward of the bridge) are included as additional parts

Display sea surface base
・Special molded part (mold/2026 production) that matches the waterline shape of the plastic Haruna and Kongo
・The shape of the waterline is compatible with the Ship NEXT series
(Not compatible with the Kongo class of the Special series or the Hiei of the Ship NEXT series)
・External dimensions are 396mm long x 134mm wide x (approx.) 17mm high, molded color is clear blue
・Shape that represents the characteristics of the sea surface when turning to starboard at high speed, and the ship is slightly tilted to port due to centrifugal force
・Waves spreading from the bow to the side of the hull, and the side of the hull Reproduces the sculpted sea surface and the sea surface formation generated by the propellers.
・Multiple through holes are provided on the centerline of the hull bottom for fixing work.
Included stickers
・Three stickers are included for reproducing detailed coloring.
・Pre-cut stickers are included for easy application.
・The stickers include basic parts such as the naval ensign and the colored parts of the ship's boats, as well as finer details.
