■Product Description
The Ship NEXT Shiranui/Akigumo 2-ship set with photo-etched parts is being reissued!
The product is based on the appearance of the second ship of the Kagero-class destroyers, "Shiranui," and the 19th ship, "Akigumo," from the start of the war to 1942.
The molded color of the main parts is a slightly light gray that represents the Maizuru Naval Arsenal color.
The hull uses a different mold from the hull with the portholes closed at the end of the war, and is a dedicated part.
There are no additional machine gun mounts in front of the bridge, and a dedicated linoleum deck is made into a part.
The 25mm machine guns near the funnel are twin machine guns before they were replaced with triple mounts.
The aft deck, where depth charges are equipped, is reproduced with dedicated parts to show its appearance before it was modified during the war.
Radar was not yet developed at that time, and the appearance without radar is reproduced with dedicated parts on both the aft and aft masts.
Highly conformable pre-cut stickers are included, allowing for detailed color separation without painting.
The stickers include gun barrel canvas, lifebuoys, and the inside of the cutter.
For users who prefer painting, one decal sheet is included, which includes the linoleum floor at the rear of the bridge and lifebuoys.
Two sets of photo-etched parts are included, allowing for detailed representation that is difficult to achieve with injection-molded parts.
The photo-etched parts include railings, gangways, lifebuoys, chimney tips, boat davits, skid beams, flagpoles, etc.
