The Wave Series now includes a sea surface stage that allows you to easily and realistically depict the ship sailing after completion!!
(Structure and Specifications Features)
・Composed of pre-colored parts, the desired coloring can be reproduced without painting.
・It is a snap-fit assembly, so it can be assembled without using glue.
・A sea surface base is included to reproduce the ship sailing on the ocean and to display it in a more realistic and easy way.
(Product Features)
・●The product is modeled after the shape of the ship at the time of its completion in November 1944, with the remaining work completed.
・Although it is based on the sister ships Yamato and Musashi in reality, a distinctive feature is that dedicated parts are used instead of sharing parts to express the differences.
・The display sea surface base three-dimensionally expresses the wake waves generated from the bow, sides, and propellers.
Hull
・The hull is divided into left and right halves, and the arrangement around the bow bellmouth is reproduced with accurate historical research.
・The molded color is a dark and light green, mimicking anti-submarine camouflage.
・Some parts, such as the canvas openings on the sides of the hull, are represented with a highly conformable sealing material.
・The portholes lining the sides of the hull are reproduced with delicate engraving, showing the difference between closed and open shapes.
Flight Deck
・The flight deck is made of two pieces. The parts are divided into the concrete-covered deck section and the outer edge section, making it the optimal shape for painting.
・The cement-covered section is made of molded parts colored in a light gray, which is brighter than the battleship color.
Armament
・The main guns can be elevated and rotated. Achieves both a minimum number of parts and realistic molding.
・The direction of the 46 cm main gun barrels is set to open using a slide mold.
・To reproduce the additional machine gun mounts on the roofs of the No. 2 and No. 3 main guns, dedicated parts are provided for both the main gun roofs and the machine gun mounts.
・The secondary guns are rotatable, and the barrel and turret are a single-piece structure.
Bridge
・The bridge uses a split-slide mold to minimize seams between parts, and the parts are integrated.
・The shape of the chimney and the structure around the aft boat deck are three-dimensional based on recent documents and research.
Chimney/Mast/Fittings
・The shape of the chimney and the structure around the aft boat deck are three-dimensional based on recent documents and research.
・The chimney is made up of three parts, and the steam exhaust pipe is realistically shaped while being integrated with the support structure.
・The cap part (grille) at the top of the chimney is hollowed out, creating a very realistic shape with a sense of depth.
・The bridge is made into a single part using a slide mold. All four sides have detailed sculpted expressions for a realistic shape.
・The high-angle gun mounts feature strip patterns, and the hangar walls have monkey ladders, achieving a high-density design with intricate carvings on surfaces that tend to be monotonous.
・Bonus parts include adhesive-type "horizontal binoculars" and "machine gun ammunition boxes," parts for detailed finishing.
Aircraft
・Four types of aircraft are included: "Shiden-kai," "Ryusei," "Saiun," and "Ohka."
・The Shiden-kai comes in two colors: the standard dark green and a yellow-orange color modeled after the prototype Shiden-kai II.
・The landing gear of the Ryusei, Saiun, and Shiden-kai is molded as one piece, and separate parts for the landing gear with even more detailed carvings are also provided.

・Pre-cut stickers with excellent adhesion are included, making it easy to paint the details.
・The included stickers are in a special color scheme to match the cement-covered flight deck.
• The included stickers cover the canvas hull, the linoleum floor of the bridge, and the white lines on the flight deck, allowing for color representation without painting.
• In addition to the stickers, decals are included for painted finishes, including the white lines on the flight deck and the Hinomaru (Japanese flag) on the aircraft.
