This product is designed as a snap-fit kit that does not require glue, setting it apart from conventional kits.
The product is modeled after the ship's appearance at the time of its completion in December 1941, shortly after the start of the Pacific War.
Equipped with four 15.5 cm triple guns unloaded from the Mogami-class light cruisers. Wooden deck parts are included to reproduce the appearance with the guns mounted on both sides.
The 15-meter rangefinder on top of the bridge reproduces the clean appearance without the Type 21 radar.
An admiral's flag sticker is included. You can recreate the appearance of Admiral Yamamoto, Commander-in-Chief of the Combined Fleet, sitting on the ship when it sortied from Hashirajima in May 1942.
The ship's name is printed on the gold-plated base. The plated finish gives it a sense of presence and luxury.
