■Product Description
Escort the decoy Zuikaku!! The long-awaited 5,500-ton light cruiser is finally here in 2020 with a completely new mold and the definitive version brought to life with the latest technology!

●The product is based on the final appearance of the ship during Operation Sho-Go in October 1944.
・The catapults have been removed and replaced with additional machine guns, and the No. 7 14cm main guns have been replaced with 12.7cm twin anti-aircraft guns.
・The horizontally laid linoleum deck, which differs from that of the Kuma, is accurately reproduced.

★Bow
The subtle curve near the bow fairlead is accurately shaped. The 66cm shear (height) of the bow is reflected in the design and reproduced.

★Main Guns
The 14cm main guns are shaped including the breech (inside the shield), and slide molds are used to express the muzzle as an open shape.
Only the 1st to 4th main guns have wave deflectors on their shields, and dedicated parts are used to express the difference from the 5th and 6th main guns.
The 2nd main gun comes with two types of parts: one facing backward in its normal position, and another facing forward with the barrel elevated for wave protection.

★Bridge
The bulletproof plate covering the compass bridge is expressed with meticulous attention to shape, rivets, and mounting angle.

★Central Section
The 5,500t light cruiser has two types of linoleum decks, longitudinal and transverse, and the Tama is reproduced with dedicated parts for the transverse type.

★Rear/Stern
The double horn shape of the stern is accurately reproduced on the hull bottom part.

★Pre-cut stickers are included to express the colors of the details.

The Ship NEXT series is designed with a snap-fit system that does not require glue, setting it apart from conventional kits.
◆The color scheme is expressed using pre-colored molded materials for the main color divisions.
◆Details and markings are reproduced with highly conformable realistic stickers.
◆A division method is used that makes the joints of the parts less noticeable.
Both waterline and full-hull types can be made by dividing the parts at the waterline. (Excluding bonus parts)

※This product is made in Japan.
