■Product Description
The base has been renewed with a new design! As a first-edition limited release, a plate engraved with a wooden deck pattern and a strip pattern is included.

The battleship Kongo was the most versatile of the 12 battleships owned by the Imperial Japanese Navy!
The first ship of the Kongo-class battleships, "Kongo," was built in England and was the world's first to be equipped with 36 cm guns. After two refits, it participated in the major naval battles of the Pacific War.
Taking advantage of its speed, it played a diverse role, from directly escorting aircraft carrier task forces to bombarding land facilities. In November 1944, it was torpedoed by a submarine in the Taiwan Strait and sank.

□Reproduces the ship as it was during the Battle of Leyte Gulf in the latter half of 1944, when its anti-aircraft armament was maximized in response to the air superiority of the US military.
□The hull color is reproduced with a molded color that imitates the darkest "Sasebo Naval Arsenal color".
□The wooden deck and linoleum deck are made up of separate parts in their respective color tones, drastically reducing masking work for users who prefer painting!
□The mast, composed of several support pillars, is designed with parts division in mind to make assembly easier.
□The overall relief carving is delicate yet impactful.
□Bonus parts assembled with adhesive include a variety of items such as a 25mm single machine gun, ammunition boxes, ventilation towers, and stays for additional machine gun mounts.

□The base has been redesigned for improved stability! Lower center of gravity and increased contact area for greater stability.
□For a limited time in the first production run, a version of the base with a wooden deck and a mechanical surface carving of strip patterns is included.
□The base is molded in black and consists of 4 parts.
□The base can be flipped over and used as a parts holder during assembly.

The Ship NEXT series is a plastic model kit that makes ship models easier to build while achieving a realistic finish.
◆No painting is required thanks to the color-coded molding of each part.
◆A splitting method is used that makes the joints of the parts less noticeable.
◆It is a snap-fit kit that does not require glue.
◆Decals are included to reproduce the color coding of fine details.
◆By removing the part below the waterline, you can reproduce a waterline model.
