■Product Description
Updated specifications! The display base has been stylishly renewed!
This model is based on the ship's appearance at the start of the war in 1941, when the outbreak of war between Japan and the United States was imminent, and when it was equipped with external electrical circuits, supporting the subsequent rapid advance.
It can reproduce the sleek appearance from before December 1941, before the modifications based on lessons learned at the start of the war, to around 1942 after the war began.
Designed as a snap-fit kit that does not require glue, this series has specifications that set it apart from conventional kits.
It greatly lowers the barrier to entry for ship models, allowing you to easily enjoy a realistic result.
□The product is an impressive 1/350 scale, measuring approximately 34 cm when completed.
□The appearance before the portholes were closed is reproduced with dedicated hull parts.
□The main guns are mounted in the form before the No. 2 turret was replaced with a machine gun, with three guns installed.
□The shape of the main gun turret is reproduced on all five sides using slide molding.
□The molded colors are multi-colored, with the gray being a slightly lighter shade that mimics the Maizuru Naval Arsenal color, and the linoleum, hull bottom, propellers, etc., are pre-colored.
□Detailed color separation and color expression are reproduced using the included highly conformable realistic stickers, making it easy to assemble without painting.
□As a bonus for those who prefer painting, decals are included.
The decals include the stern and side names of the Kagero.
Furthermore, to allow for the reproduction of other ships, the stern names, side names, and destroyer squadron number (17) of the 17th Destroyer Division (Urakaze, Isokaze, Hamakaze, Tanikaze) are also included.
(Please note that the piping shape next to the funnel is slightly different for Isokaze due to the parts configuration.)
□The product is designed so that it is possible to build five different ships depending on the workmanship.
【Renewed display base! 】
□Revised shape and new design for improved stability! Lower center of gravity and increased contact area for greater stability.
□Molded in black and composed of 4 parts.
□The horizontal surface has a smooth surface and a rough textured surface, and is a reversible part that can be painted blue to create the image of waves.
The Ship NEXT series is a plastic model kit that makes ship models easier to build while achieving a realistic finish.
◆No painting required thanks to color-coded molding of each part.
◆Uses a division method that makes the joints of the parts less noticeable.
◆It is a snap kit that does not require glue.
◆Includes stickers to reproduce the color separation of fine details.
◆By removing the part below the waterline, you can recreate a waterline model.
