■Product Description
Escort the aircraft carrier task force - the anti-aircraft destroyer created by the Imperial Japanese Navy!
The definitive model of the Akizuki-class destroyer, with a completely new design and re-researched, and new molds!

- Akizuki is molded in a dark gray Sasebo Naval Arsenal color, and Hatsuzuki in the lightest gray Maizuru Naval Arsenal color.
- Designed so that you can choose to build a full-hull or waterline model, with the hull and bottom parts separated at the waterline.
- The seams and steps of the outer plating on the sides are expressed based on the remaining cross-sectional view.
- The bottom of the hull reproduces the seams of the outer plating and the water intake/drainage ports with engraving.
- The upper deck expresses the drainage slope that is tilted to the left and right, albeit in fine detail.

- The different shapes of the signal station decks of Akizuki and Hatsuzuki are made into separate parts.
・The steam exhaust pipe on the port side of the funnel runs at a higher position on Akizuki and at a lower position on Hatsuzuki.
・The rails on the port side aft of the torpedo tubes are different for Akizuki and Hatsuzuki, so separate parts are provided.

・The molded parts for the bridge windows are transparent.
・The design of the compass bridge windows, which are stepped from the front to the side, is represented.
・The design of the compass bridge and the signal station deck being at different heights is accurately reproduced.
・The main gun, the "Long 10cm gun," is a completely newly made mold, and its distinctive appearance is three-dimensionally rendered with delicate engraving.
・On the starboard side, there is a linoleum deck extending from the stern, and based on historical photographs, the end is estimated to be the torpedo tube forward machine gun mount (frame 99) and is set accordingly.

・Pre-cut realistic stickers that conform well to steps and other uneven surfaces are included.
・The decals cover all the details that require painting, such as the naval ensign, lifebuoys, and the inside of the cutter.

・The display base has been redesigned with a revised shape for improved stability! Lower center of gravity and increased contact area for greater stability.
・The first production lot includes a version with a striped pattern/wooden deck pattern and mechanical surface carvings on the top of the display base.

The Ship NEXT series is a plastic kit that makes ship models easier to build while achieving a realistic finish.
◆No painting is required as each part is molded in different colors.
◆A splitting method is used that makes the joints of the parts less noticeable.
◆It is a snap kit that does not require glue.
◆Decals are included to reproduce the color separation of fine details.
◆By removing the part below the waterline, you can recreate a waterline model.
