■Product Description
The Imperial Japanese Navy series "Aircraft Carrier Shokaku" is now available with wooden deck decals!
The product is a full-hull specification that can reproduce the bottom of the ship, and comes with a display stand that can be enjoyed after completion.
The lower part of the hull is made of one molded part, with the propeller and rudder being separate parts.
In addition to the 25mm machine guns (triple/twin/single) included in the kit, precision machine gun parts with separate barrels and mounts are also included.
The Type 96 25mm machine gun is made of two pieces, making it easy to reproduce the gunmetal of the barrel and the hull color of the base.
The product is modeled after the Shokaku in 1941, at the start of the Pacific War. The molded color of the carrier-based aircraft is gray for ease of work.
Decals are included that include the Hinomaru (Japanese flag) on the carrier-based aircraft, white lines on the deck, and the national flag.
The wooden deck decals are processed with a laser cutter, allowing for a realistic reproduction of the wooden deck pattern, which is difficult to achieve with paint.
The wooden deck decals are pre-cut to match the deck parts, so no processing is required. The white center line and ship name are printed on them.
Etched parts are included to reproduce the details on the flight deck.
The etched parts include elevators, landing gear, and arresting gear.
