■Product Description
The product is a full-hull specification that can reproduce the bottom of the ship, and comes with a display stand that can be enjoyed after completion.
The instruction manual has been renewed to be easier to read and understand.
The molded parts of the hull are light green considering the paint color of the No. 22 color on the outer hull.
The distinctive parts of each ship in the Unryu-class are reproduced by making them separate parts.
・To shorten the construction period, the bridge, which is composed of a square planar shape, is reproduced with a dedicated part. (This is a difference from Unryu and Amagi)
・Unlike Unryu and Amagi, which have a No. 21 radar mounted on the top of the bridge, a single molded part for the No. 22 radar and No. 13 radar is used.
・The protruding part at the bottom of the bridge, which is composed of a straight shape, is a new dedicated part.
・The machine gun mounts are square due to simplified construction, and the appearance with the shielded 25 mm machine guns behind the funnel has been reduced is reproduced.
・The triangular prism-shaped machine gun and anti-aircraft gun sponson supports, composed of flat surfaces, are represented with dedicated parts.
・The triple 25mm machine gun mounts installed at the bow and stern utilize dedicated rectangular parts.
Although the flight deck is painted with latex, which can often be monotonous, the design is rich in detail with diverse sculptural representations such as aircraft mooring rings, arresting cables, and expansion joints.
The Type 21 concealed radar and the two concealed searchlights on the flight deck can be displayed in either the retracted or deployed state.
Camouflage decals are included to easily recreate the camouflage-painted appearance of the flight deck.
The aircraft included are the "Reppu," "Ryusei," and "Saiun" that were planned to be deployed.
The twin 25mm machine guns include both the conventional one-piece structure part and a more precise two-piece part.
