■Product Description
A set of carrier-based aircraft that were deployed on light aircraft carriers in the later stages of the war. A PLUS version with clear molding for a more realistic reproduction!
All four types of aircraft are included in one set, eliminating the need to purchase each type separately: carrier-based fighters, carrier-based fighters with bombs, bombers, and attack aircraft.
Suitable for deployment on light aircraft carriers such as the aircraft carriers Taiho, Shokaku, and Zuikaku from mid-1944 onwards, as well as Zuiho and Ryuho.
●Contents
A total of 40 aircraft are included: 10 Zero fighters, 6 bombers, 16 dive bombers, and 8 torpedo bombers.
The aircraft types are Zero Fighter Type 52, Zero Fighter Type 21 with bombs, Type 99 Dive Bomber Type 22, Suisei Type 12, and Tenzan Type 12.
The molded color is clear, allowing for a more realistic reproduction of the canopy.
Decals are included for national markings.
●Compatible Aircraft Carriers
Suitable for use as a carrier-based aircraft on aircraft carriers such as "Taiho," "Shokaku," "Zuikaku," "Junyo," "Hiyo," "Ryuho," "Zuiho," "Chiyoda," and "Chitose" from the Battle of the Philippine Sea onwards.
●Zero Fighter
・Modeled after the Type 52, which has a narrower wingspan than the Type 21.
・Each aircraft has 7 parts (fuselage, canopy, propeller, drop tank, main landing gear, tail wheel).
・The main landing gear struts and covers, as well as the tail wheel, have been made more realistic through part division.
・The drop tank, propeller, and canopy are separate parts, making it easy to paint.
・The radio antenna strut is molded integrally with the canopy.
・10 aircraft included.
●Suisei Carrier-Based Bomber
・Modeled after the Type 12 equipped with the liquid-cooled Atsuta engine.
・Each aircraft has 10 parts (fuselage, canopy, drop tank, 60kg bomb, main landing gear, tail wheel, propeller).
・The canopy, propeller, and 60kg bomb are separate parts, making it easy to paint.
・The model captures the unique shape of the aircraft with its tapered front section.
・10 aircraft included.
●Tenzan Carrier-Based Attack Aircraft
・Modeled after the Type 12 equipped with the "Kasei" engine.
・Each aircraft has 7 parts (fuselage, canopy, propeller, aerial bomb, main landing gear, tail wheel).
・The large canopy, aerial bomb, and propeller are separate parts, making it easy to paint.
・The torpedoes are precisely sculpted with a tapered shape at the rear, and the main landing gear is precisely sculpted with the rounded shape of a tire.
・Includes 8 aircraft.
●Type 99 Carrier Bomber
・Based on the Type 22, an improved version of the conventional Type 11.
・Each aircraft has 5 parts (fuselage, propeller, bombs, main landing gear).
・The distinctive main landing gear cover and the shape of the 250 kg bomb are accurately reproduced through part division.
・The bombs and propeller are separate parts, making it easy to paint.
・Capturing the external features such as the enlarged shape of the vertical stabilizer, 6 aircraft are included.
●Type 0 Carrier Fighter (Bombed)
・Based on the Type 21, a carrier-based aircraft with a wide wingspan, and the bombed version that carries 250 kg bombs.
・Each aircraft has 7 parts (fuselage, propeller, drop tank, main landing gear, 250kg bomb).
・The main landing gear struts and covers, as well as the bombs, have been made more realistic in shape than before due to the parts division.
・The bombs and propellers are separate parts, making it easy to paint.
・6 aircraft included.
●Included Decals
・Two decals of approximately 89 x 90 mm are included.
・Includes Hinomaru markings (white border, late wartime specification) on the upper and lower surfaces of the main wings and fuselage.
・Includes Hinomaru markings with white borders from before June 1944, which can be used for Suisei and Zero fighters, etc.
