■Product Description
This product represents the appearance of the ship after September 1944, when it was converted into an anti-aircraft cruiser by replacing its single guns with high-angle guns.
(Basic Specifications)
・It is an assembly kit that uses adhesive, and is characterized by its detailed construction that pursues the realism of the model.
・The molded color is mainly gray, and it is designed to be assembled while enjoying painting.
・Unlike the STD version, the PLUS version includes clear parts for some parts to pursue realism.

・The product is modeled after the ship was refitted in September 1944, when the 14cm single gun was replaced with a 12.7cm twin anti-aircraft gun.
→The forward torpedo tubes were removed and a crew waiting room was installed in the hull.
→The torpedo tubes were replaced with quadruple torpedo tubes.
→The radar system consists of a No. 21 radar on the bridge and No. 22 and No. 13 radars on the aft mast.
→A 10-meter cargo ship was carried.

●Hull
・Parts configuration with left and right integrated structure
→External electrical wiring is not installed, representing the shape as it was during sea trials after the refit
→The forward torpedo tubes have been removed and a crew waiting room has been installed
→The portholes have been closed based on lessons learned from combat, and only the minimum number have been represented
・The hull bottom is designed to fit into the inside of the hull, and the area below the waterline is not reproduced
・The shelter section is a single piece made by slide molding
★The chrysanthemum emblem is processed with realistic carving / a chrysanthemum emblem part for replacement is included
●Deck
・The anchor deck to the gun mount deck is reproduced as a single piece
・The aft torpedo tube room to the stern is a single piece structure
→The deck expresses the camber angle (drainage slope), and the linoleum retainers are expressed with delicate carvings
→The machine gun ammunition boxes, machine gun mount bluework, and boat cradles are expressed by carvings directly onto the deck
★Realistic replacement parts for the boat cradles are included.
→The cradles are finely reproduced, including lightening holes (recessed carvings) and the shape of the pads.
・The included boats are an 11-meter motorboat, a 10-meter cargo boat, and a 9-meter cutter.
★The 11-meter motorboat comes with replacement parts that make painting easier.
→The structure and the rear canvas cover are separate parts.
★The 9-meter cutter comes with two separate parts that make painting easier.
・Depth charge platforms, anti-aircraft guns/additional machine gun mounts, and stern bollards are separate parts from the deck.
・The machine gun placement can be reproduced using two methods: one based on the 1944 survey results and the other based on crew testimonies.
●Bridge and Funnel
・The bridge base is a box-shaped part formed using slide molding.
・Each level, such as the compass deck, anti-aircraft command post, and signal flag deck, is composed of separate parts.
・The bridge windows are integrated with the compass bridge part (molded in gray).
→★The molded color of the 60cm signal searchlight is different from STD (gray), and transparent molded parts are included to realistically reproduce it.
・Detailed fittings such as ladders and signal searchlights are each made up of separate/independent parts.
★Binocular telescope parts are included to enhance the precision of the anti-aircraft command post.
・The Type 21 radar on top of the bridge comes as a part with the base and radar integrated.
★The PLUS version comes with radar parts with a realistic shape (installation requires modification).
・All three funnel parts are split into left and right sections.
・The top of the funnel/rain cover has a "hollow" shape to realistically represent the lattice pattern.

・The 12.7cm twin high-angle gun comes with parts common to the Special Series.
→★The 12.7cm twin high-angle gun/Type A1 comes with realistic replacement parts.
→★The elevation angle can be reproduced in a wide range, and the gun-side aiming shutter can be selected in two types: open/closed.
・The 25mm triple machine gun is molded as one piece for easy assembly, and the parts are also well-sculpted.
・The 25mm single machine gun comes with parts common to the Special Series.
→★Replacement parts are included that are realistic and make painting easier, with the gun mount and barrel as separate parts.
→★Assembly is done by combining the runners, positioning them, and then fixing them with liquid adhesive.
●Fixtures
・The gangway is made of separate parts, so the appearance when at anchor can also be reproduced.
★Replacement parts are included for the navigation lights equipped on the left and right front.
・The aft mast has the main mast, support mast and cross tree as separate parts.
★The PLUS version includes a segmented part that can reproduce the shape with the trumpet section extended.
・The molded color of the searchlight parts is gray.
★The PLUS version includes clear molded parts for increased realism.
・The No. 13 radar can be installed as an option (installation requires modification of the boat landing pole).
★The PLUS version includes No. 13 radar parts for increased realism.
・The stern signal light is provided as a separate part.
