■Product Description
The second ship of the Unryu-class, Amagi, is now available with photo-etched parts!
The molded parts of the hull are light green, taking into consideration the paint color of the outer hull No. 22.
The distinctive parts of each ship within the Unryu-class are reproduced as separate parts.
The rear of the bridge has been extended, and a special part that incorporates the base of the tripod mast has been used.
The machine gun mounts added to the port side center and both sides of the stern are reproduced in a square shape.
Although the flight deck is painted with latex, which tends to be monotonous, the design is rich in detail with various engraved expressions such as eyelets for securing aircraft, arresting ropes, and expansion joints.
The carrier-based aircraft include four types of aircraft owned by the 601st Air Group, which existed as a carrier-based unit after completion: "Zero Fighter Type 52", "Zero Fighter Type 21 with bombs", "Suisei", and "Tenzan".
The parts are made of photo-etched metal and come in two large sheets.
The included parts primarily consist of two types: adding details that cannot be reproduced with molded parts, and partially replacing parts by cutting them.
The delicate ship fittings that cannot be fully expressed with injection-molded parts are included in the photo-etched parts.
The photo-etched parts include railings, ladders, radars No. 13 and No. 21, arresting cables, elevators, and airplane propellers.
Painting is required as these are metal parts. When gluing, please use instant adhesive or rubber-based adhesive depending on the area to be glued.
