The product consists of eight ships belonging to the 1st Escort Flotilla, according to the fleet composition in 1998.
Includes five classes: 1 Shirane-class, 1 Kongo-class, 1 Hatakaze-class, 2 Murasame-class, and 3 Asagiri-class.
Two sea surface plates (blue molded color) are included for display purposes.
Shirane-class
Composed of 9 parts.
Accurately represents the distinctive helicopter deck at the stern, the centrally concentrated structures, and the superimposed 5-inch guns.
The helicopter transport rails on the helicopter deck are reproduced with delicate recessed engraving.
The markings on the helicopter deck represent the ship's appearance before and after RIMPAC 98 in 1998.
Kongo-class
Composed of 7 parts
The bridge is designed as a single unit, including the SPY-1 radar section.
The main gun shields are larger compared to the next class, the Atago-class.
The lifeboat containers and torpedo tubes mounted on both sides of the stern are also accurately shaped.
The passageway in the center of the ship is a recessed line, and the bow is designed without engraving as it differs depending on the ship and era.
Hatakaze-class
Composed of 9 parts.
The 5-inch guns are separate parts, reproducing the characteristic two guns without any omissions.
The distinctive forward bluework shape and knuckle line that protect the SAM launcher mounted on the bow are represented.

Murasame class
