The current Jimny's color variations now include the XC grade in Chiffon Ivory Metallic!
The JB64 is the current model that appeared in 2018 as the 4th generation of the Jimny.
Unlike the previous JB23, which was based on curves, it has a square body that is even more reminiscent of the previous/2nd generation Jimny.
Mechanisms such as the ladder frame and rigid axle suspension are inherited from the previous generation, and improvements have been made to the high off-road capability and on-road driving performance.
There are three grades, from top to bottom: XC/XL/XG, with multiple monotone colors available, and only the XC has a black top two-tone option.
The product is in kit form that requires assembly. It is 1/24 scale.
No painting required: Each part is colored with molded color, and the body has a glossy texture that cannot be obtained with paint.
No glue required: The design allows for easy assembly by fitting the parts together.
The product is based on the JB64W-1 XC grade, which was released in 2018.
The XC grade features exclusive aluminum wheels and mirrors with turn signals.
The 1/24 scale allows for accurate reproduction of fine details.
The body uses a special molding material to reproduce a level of gloss that is difficult to achieve with paint.
The molded colors consist of seven types: exclusive ivory, black, silver, gunmetal, clear smoke, clear, and clear red.

The standard structure of the Car NEXT series, where the bonnet, rear, roof, etc. are layered and fitted into the body parts.
Recessed molds such as door panels are expressed with a distinct depth to accommodate paint and panel lining.
The undercarriage features a ladder frame as a separate part, with ancillary parts attached.
The leading arm, trailing arm, front and rear differential gear cases, and drive shafts are three-dimensionally rendered as separate parts.
The suspension shape is three-dimensionally rendered based on the 4AT vehicle.
The headlights use the LED light type shape equipped only on the XC as a dedicated part.
(The headlight washers are omitted due to mold limitations.)
The side mirrors reproduce the XC-exclusive shape with embedded turn signals.
The driver and passenger side windows are designed with the glass and frame as separate parts, eliminating the need for sticker coloring or masking during painting.
The rear windows (side/rear) are specially molded in a smoke color to express the color difference from the front.
The wiper arms and blades are molded parts with a delicate thinness that gives a realistic feel, and the concave shape on the blade surface is also expressed with fine engraving.
The steering wheel and instrument panel are dedicated parts that reproduce the features of the XC.
The seats have a two-piece structure to reproduce the shape of both the seat and backrest, and the rear seat headrests are reproduced in the lowered position.
Aluminum wheels exclusive to the XC grade are used and realistically reproduced in gunmetal molded color.
The tires are molded from rubber resin using a dedicated mold (new mold), and 175/80R16 size on-road tires are included.
Detailed coloring is reproduced with the included stickers, which are pre-cut and easy to apply.
The stickers include the meter panel, logos, vehicle number, etc.
The spare tire on the back is made of the same rubber material as the four wheels.
The rear lights reproduce two-color light lenses by layering clear red and clear molded color parts.
The lights are expressed with finely sculpted curves of the reflector and bulbs.
