The "Shinkai 6500," completed in November 1989, celebrated its 25th anniversary at the end of 2014.
A deluxe kit commemorating this milestone is now available!
It includes precision etched parts to detail the sample basket, and
one giant squid and three giant isopods in the same scale, sculpted by Satoshi Tsujimura, made from resin parts.
The familiar explanatory card (A5 size, double-sided color printing) is included.
