The Tenryu-class cruisers, completed immediately after World War I, are considered the progenitor of Japanese Navy light cruisers.
At the start of the Pacific War, the first ship of the Tenryu-class, "Tenryu," served as the flagship of the 18th Squadron of the 4th Fleet.
The kit has been designed based on the latest research and reborn as a highly detailed, precise model utilizing current mold technology.
The slenderness of the barrels of the 14cm guns and 25mm twin machine guns is truly impressive!
The direction of the linoleum fastening on the upper deck is also different from that of its sister ship, Tatsuta, with Tenryu retaining the traditional horizontal fastening.
