■Product Description
The "Hyuga" is a helicopter destroyer (first ship of the Hyuga class) of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force that entered service on March 18, 2009.
It was assigned to the 1st Escort Division of the 1st Escort Flotilla and deployed to Yokosuka Base.
Since the reorganization on March 25, 2015, it currently belongs to the 3rd Escort Division of the 3rd Escort Flotilla and is deployed to Maizuru Base.
The kit reproduces the latest state as a full-hull model.
It is an authentic scale model that is easy for beginners to build with a reduced number of parts.
The package illustration is by Tankuro Kato.
The carrier-based aircraft include two each of MCH-101, SH-60K, and MV-22.
The shipboard work vehicles include a 25t crane, rescue vehicle, towing vehicle, and
remote-controlled electric handler.
