■Product Description
This kit is a 1/350 scale model of the aircraft carrier Akagi. When assembled, it will be a large-volume kit with a total length of 745mm. New facts have come to light during the development of this kit! The shape of the rear end of the hangar, the size and shape of the hull keel, and the shape of the side armor plate fairings have been designed based on new materials. Please be sure to check the accurate shapes as you assemble it. The anti-aircraft guns/secondary guns/foldable antenna masts/rudder are movable. All three elevators can be set to either the raised position or the lowered position. The searchlights are separate parts and can be set to either the extended position on the flight deck or the retracted position. The aircraft are made of clear plastic and include three Zero Fighter Type 21s, three Type 99 Dive Bomber Type 11s, and six Type 97 Model 3 Carrier Attack Bombers. The girders on the underside of the flight deck are separate parts, allowing for precise representation using plastic parts. The branching sections at the base of the smokestack, the intricate details of the bridge, and so on... all are rendered with a high level of detail through precise sculpting.
