■Product Description
The F/A-18E/F Super Hornet is an improved successor to the F/A-18C/D.
Fuel tanks were increased to extend the range.
The fuselage was extended by 86 cm, and fuel was also loaded into the vertical stabilizer.
The resulting weight increase was compensated for by an engine with increased thrust, and the air intake was also enlarged to match the engine change.
The angular parallelogram shape of the intake is one of the aircraft's distinctive external features.
The airframe structure was significantly modified, with the wings extended and the wing area increased to increase lift, but other than that, only some electronics and power supply systems were updated, and parts were kept in common with the F/A-18C/D.
The kit features a parts configuration that offers a moderately challenging build and sharp panel line engraving.
The accessories for the underside of the main wing include drop tanks (x4), AIM-9X (x2), AMRAAM (x2), and a target pod.
