[The Big E, a Symbol of US Navy Victory]
This is a plastic model assembly kit of the US Navy aircraft carrier Enterprise, nicknamed "Big E" due to its numerous battle records, despite its medium-sized hull with a displacement of approximately 19,900 tons. Of the 22 major naval battles of the Pacific War, it sortied 18 times, including the Battle of Midway, and suffered damage 15 times, yet it rose again each time and continued to fight, making it a symbol of US Navy victory, which is reproduced with a high degree of realism. The kit models the ship in its appearance in the later stages of the Pacific War with enhanced anti-aircraft armament. The aircraft lined up on the flight deck, such as Hellcats, Corsairs, Avengers, and Helldivers, complete the imposing style of the Big E.
