■Product Description
[The weight of battles on the flight deck]
Completed in September 1941 as the second ship of the Shokaku-class aircraft carriers. This is a plastic model assembly kit of the Zuikaku, an ideal aircraft carrier equipped with high speed, powerful anti-aircraft armament, and the ability to carry more than 80 aircraft, which continued to fight until it was sunk at the Battle of Leyte Gulf in October 1944. While the Shokaku is reproduced in its appearance at the start of the war, the Zuikaku is modeled after its appearance at the Battle of Leyte Gulf, the last battle of the Japanese Navy's mobile fleet. The enhanced anti-aircraft armament, including anti-aircraft machine guns, high-angle guns, and rocket launchers, conveys the fierce aerial battles at the end of the war. You can also enjoy displaying the abundant aircraft on the deck, such as the Zero Fighter Type 52, the Suisei dive bomber, and the Saiun reconnaissance aircraft.
