[About the Republic P-47D Thunderbolt]
Equipped with a 2000-horsepower P&WR-2800 engine, an exhaust turbine supercharger, and heavy armament of eight 12.7mm cannons, the P-47 Thunderbolt, along with the P-51, was the main fighter aircraft of the United States Army Air Corps. Among its representative D-type, the early production model, with a narrowed upper fuselage from the canopy to the tail, was called the Razorback. The P-47D Razorback utilized its superior high-altitude performance and high speed to fight valiantly as a long-range escort for bombers heading to Germany. Furthermore, with a weapons payload capacity of over 1 ton, it was also a formidable force in ground attacks.

[About the Model] ●This is a plastic model assembly kit of the P-47D Thunderbolt, a masterpiece fighter-bomber of the United States Army Air Corps. ●1/48 scale, 230mm in length, 259mm in wingspan. ●Modeled after the early production model known as the Razorback among the P-47D. The voluminous style, including the thick and robust fuselage and the cowling encasing the high-output engine, is faithfully reproduced. ●The wing flaps are separate parts, allowing you to choose between up and down positions. Three types of propellers, gun sights, and rearview mirrors are included. ●The engine cowl flaps and intercooler shutters on the sides of the fuselage can be selected for open or closed positions. ●A wide variety of armament parts are included, such as two types of drop tanks, 500-pound bombs, and rocket launchers. ●Includes one pilot figure and two types of decals.
