[About the Leopard 2A6]
The Leopard 2A6 is a tank with world-class capabilities, featuring a 55-caliber 120mm smoothbore gun instead of the Leopard 2A5's main gun. Based on the Leopard 2, considered a masterpiece of the third generation of post-war tanks, the Leopard 2A5 was created through gradual modifications to enhance its defensive and offensive capabilities. The A6 type further increased armor penetration and muzzle velocity by replacing the wedge-shaped turret of the A5 with a long-barreled 120mm smoothbore gun.
