■Product Description
This is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Suzuki GSX1100S Katana, which was unveiled at the 1980 Cologne Show and went on sale in 1981, causing a sensation with its unique style. The aggressive style designed by Hans Muth is faithfully reproduced. The parallel four-cylinder DOHC engine with its engraved cooling fins has a sufficiently mechanical feel. Ignition wires, brake pipes, and meter cables are also represented with vinyl pipes for a highly detailed finish. Metal screws are used for the axles and other parts for sufficient strength. Both the front and rear tires are made of textured solid rubber, and the tread pattern is accurately sculpted to give the wheels a sharp look. In addition, Suzuki's unique star-shaped cast wheels are reproduced as a single molded piece.
