■Product Description
[Symbol of the Soviet Counterattack]
In November 1942, while fierce battles were raging with the German army in Stalingrad, the new T-34 was born, attracting the hopes of many. The T-34, which had overwhelmed German tanks such as the Panzer IV with its superior firepower, mobility, and armor, reappeared with improvements based on battlefield experience. The turret was enlarged to improve habitability, the commander's hatch was redesigned, the frequently malfunctioning transmission was improved, and the hull structure was revised to allow for the extensive use of automatic electric welding, further increasing production efficiency. This was the T-34/76 1943 model, which became the mainstay of production in 1943. In addition to its original high performance, the T-34 was more balanced and easier to use, and that summer it played a major role in the Battle of Kursk, famous as the largest tank battle in history.
