■Product Description
The Messerschmitt Bf109E was the main fighter aircraft of the German Luftwaffe in the first half of World War II. This plastic model assembly kit allows you to choose between building the Bf109E-4, which followed the E-3 and began production in May 1940, becoming the main fighter in the Battle of Britain, and the E-7, which had enhanced range thanks to the ability to attach auxiliary fuel tanks. The kit faithfully models the linear and sharp style of the Bf109E-4/7. The distinctive rectangular canopy can be displayed open or closed. The E-7's auxiliary fuel tanks and mounting racks are also rendered with rich detail. An air intake with a sand filter is also included, allowing for assembly as a TROP (Trop) type. A realistic pilot figure and three types of decals, including one of Major Helmut Wick's aircraft, are included.
